When I was a teenager living in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area, my favorite radio station was KQV. Although I enjoyed the popular music that they played, what really attracted me to the station was their Showcase Studios. During the day and early evening, one could go to the Chamber of Commerce Building at the corner of 7th Avenue and Smithfield Street in Pittsburgh and watch the deejays and listen to the great music that they played. Although all of that has been gone for many years, it's memory lives on. Jeff Roteman has a great tribute web site which you can visit by clicking on the KQV logo on the left.
